What I collect when you book or get in touch, and why.

Who I am

Nail Fairy Lils is run by Lillie, a sole trader in Bolton, Greater Manchester. I'm responsible for your information. Contact me on Instagram @nailfairylils or by email at nailfairylils@gmail.com.

What I collect

  • When you book: your name, email, mobile number, the set you chose, your notes, how you heard about me, and any inspo pictures you add.
  • Allergies and skin conditions, if you tell me. This is health information, so I only use it to keep you safe during your appointment, and only with your consent.
  • Reviews: your first name, rating and review, shown on this website once I've approved them.
  • Messages and payments: what you send me on Instagram, Facebook or by email, and records of your deposit and payment.

Why I use it

To arrange and carry out your appointment, contact you about it, keep you safe, keep my business and tax records, and reply to you. I never sell your information or use it for adverts.

Who helps me

  • Cal.com runs the booking calendar, and Google holds my calendar and email.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website and stores inspo pictures and reviews.
  • Meta (Instagram, Facebook, Messenger) carries our messages, and my bank handles payments. If I take card deposits, Stripe processes them.

Some of these companies store data outside the UK, using the legal safeguards UK law requires.

How long I keep it

  • Inspo pictures uploaded on this site are deleted automatically after 120 days.
  • Booking and consultation details are kept while you're a client and for up to 6 years after, for tax and insurance.
  • You can ask me to delete a review at any time.

Cookies

This website doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Visitor counts are anonymous and cookie-free. The booking calendar, provided by Cal.com, may use cookies it needs to work.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how I use it: just message or email me. If you're unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
